What point in her timeline?: Let's say sometime after Heart no Kuni and before Clover no Kuni. Because the game has multiple endings, I'll simplify and say she decided to stay in Wonderland but didn't romantically attach herself to anyone. She stayed in the clock tower with Julius Monroe (who runs a clock shop; he's also known as an executioner because he fixes broken clocks [when people die in Wonderland, their clock is taken to Julius, who fixes it and "reboots" it from scratch]) and apprenticed herself to him. Unfortunately, many Wonderlanders resent Julius because when he restarts the clocks, everything that made up their personalities is wiped away. So some people would rather destroy a clock, effectively commiting suicide or murder, than give the worn-down clocks to Julius for repair. Alice eventually gets caught in the middle of one such attempted kidnapping, and in the midde of a hostage situation while staring down the barrel of a gun or six, people tend to forget who can regenerate and who can't...
